Annapolis's Annual Polar Bear Plunge is January 28th!

DO THE PLUNGE! 

I went a couple years ago, it's quite the experience.

This year tickets are $75 donations. Plunge participants take a chilly dip in the Chesapeake Bay to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland. You will be joining over 10,000 courageous plungers at Sandy Point State Park seeking thrills and chills all to benefit the 7,311 athletes of Special Olympics Maryland.

Not ready to bare it all? Then join in the festivities-fully clothed-under a huge heated tent that includes vendor booths, live entertainment, zoo animals, food court, carnival amusements, sandcastle building, a "kids' zone" and more. The event typically attracts more than 25,000 plungers and spectators.
